MASS TRAINING OF GRADE TWO TEACHERS ON IMPLEMENTATION 

OF THE K TO 12 CURRICULUM

To All Elementary School Principals:

1.                  Pursuant to DepEd Memorandum No. 34, s. 2013, Training of Teachers and Mass Training of Grades 2 and 8 Teachers and in compliance with Regional Memorandum dated May 2, 2013 directing NCR Divisions to conduct the Mass Training of Grade 2 Teachers after the Election,  DepEd Manila announces the particulars for the conduct of said training in this division.

Cluster A and B	May 15 – 19, 2013	Tagaytay Haven Hotel, Mendez Tagaytay City
Cluster C and D		Tagaytay Haven Hotel, Ulat Road Brgy. Francisco, Tagaytay City

         2.            The mass training aims to:

a.       Orient the participants on the structure and features of the K to 12 Curriculum, specifically for Grade 2

b.      Equip them with the necessary knowledge and skills for the use of different strategies and assessment techniques in the implementation of the new curriculum

c.       Familiarize participants, thru walk – in sessions, on the utilization of teaching guides and learners materials

         3.       Participants to this training are Grade 2 teachers from all of the public schools in the division. They are expected to be at the venue not later than 7:00 am of May 15, 2013. First session starts at 8:00 am.

        4.       No registration fee will be collected from the participants. All expenses relative to the training  shall be charged to the funds to be downloaded to the Division by the Regional Office. 

          5. First meal to be served is morning snacks for Day 1 ( May 15)  and afternoon snacks for the last day of the training (May 19)

           5.         Immediate dissemination of this Memorandum is desired.
