SCG Trading Philippines donated Php100,000 worth of materials and 5 SMARTBOARD pallets (124 s fiberglass boards/pallet) to Vicente Lim Elementary School on October 12, 2012. The donation was made in line with the corporate social responsibility projects of SCG. Present during the turn-over were SDS Dr. Ponciano Menguito and ASDS Narcisa Sta. Ana , Mr. Wilfredo Reyes, principal of Vicente Lim with teachers, Mr. Saran Wongratana, President of SCG and his staff. The turn over was also attended by a representative from the Manila Department of Social Welfare who received 70 pcs of LED bulbs for the Manila City Hall and 11 pallets of fiberglass boards for MDSW projects in flood stricken areas of District I.
