An Orientation Activity on the Open High School Program of Manila was held at the G. Perfecto High School on July 11, 2012. With the theme "Reaching the Unschooled and the Underserved Anywhere, Anytime", the activity oriented participants on the rationale and procedure of implementing the program. Special guest and resource speaker during the seminar was Dr. Immanuel Maninang, Education Supervisor II of the National Capital Region.
Presently, four public secondary schools in Manila offer the Open High School Program (OHSP) : T . Paez Integrated School, G. Perfecto HIgh School, Villegas Vocational School, Nolasco High School and Tondo High School. One private school, St. Joseph School, also offers the OHSP.Assistant Superintendent Dr. Aurora Franco is in-charge of said program.
