DepED Manila held the ceremonial turn-over of school bags to selected Grades I and II students from the different public elementary schools of Manila on July 11, 2012.. Held at the P. Gomez Elementary Social Hall, the ceremony was attended by principals , teachers, pupils and school PTA presidents. Manila Mayor Alfredo S. LIm gave an inspirational message and led the distribution of bags to the student recipients.
