DepEd Manila held its awarding
ceremonies for Valedictorians and Salutatorians on March 31, 2012 at the San
Andres Complex, Manila. In the elementary
level, 80 first honors and 80 second honor students received cash incentives of P5,000 and P4,000 each , respectively. For the secondary level, 32 valedictorians and salutatorians received the
same cash grants. The total cash grants
given by the City Government to awardees in the elementary and secondary levels
is P1,008,000.
