2011-12 ALS Graduation

            

                DepED Manila’s Alternative Learning Services System held its graduation ceremonies for 6042 learners. Seventy (70) learners completed the Basic Literacy Course, six hundred fifty three (653) the elementary A and E Program , four thousand two hundred seventy three (4273) the A and E secondary program, four hundred seventy (470) the Literacy cum Livelihood Program and five hundred seventy six (576)  the ALS Partner courses.

                Hon. Mayor Alfredo S. Lim was special guest of honor.  He urged the ALS completers to continue studying as there is no substitute for education to be able to better one’s life. DEpEd Manila’s ALS Services also conferred awards to its partners, the Rotary Club of Manila(Metro Tondo), Ms. Josefina dela Serna, M. Elma Tulio, Ms. Thelma Lim, Mr. Rodrigo Catamora Sr.and  Mr. Santiago Barcenas .

                Ms. Melita Aguila, OIC Supervisor of ALS presented the completers to Dr. Ponciano A, Menguito, Schools Division Superintendent, who confirmed the completion of the learners. Dr. Manuel Baliguat, Regional ALS Supervisor, also graced the occasion. Elementary school principals and selected high school principals attended the 42^nd Graduation Ceremonies of ALS.
